Corporate Law

Corporate law forms the basis of business law and relates to how a business or organisation – be it a limited company, limited partnership, general partnership or sole proprietorship – functions as a legal entity. It is therefore a core aspect of many of the assignments managed by us here at Öresund Advokat and is one of our primary areas of expertise.

At Öresund Advokat, we work with issues relating to companies on a daily basis. Our assignments may concern internal corporate law, for example the formation of new companies, new share issues, capital contributions, shareholders’ agreements, redemption of shares and joint ventures. They may also concern issues relating to the rights of a shareholder at a general meeting of shareholders, or requirements that must be considered regarding corporate governance.

Corporate law is also largely an area in which we represent clients in relation to dispute resolution via court of law or arbitration proceedings.

Our clients range from startups to multinational corporations, both Swedish and foreign, listed and unlisted.
